Online Giving

You can now make financial contributions online easily, safely, and securely.  We have provided this online giving feature as a convenient way to support All Saints with your tithes and offerings. It is important to note that giving online is not replacing any of the traditional ways by which you already give.  This is just an additional option that is being offered for those who prefer to make their donations electronically.   Before setting up an account it is suggested that you look over the "Instructions for Online Giving".  If you decide that you would like to give Online Giving a try, you can setup an online account by clicking the "Click here to give online" button located in the top right hand corner this page.  In addition, it is recommended that you look over the FAQ's below for some additional information that may help you in making your decision.
                     Frequently Asked Questions
Is online giving secure? Yes, all account information you enter is secure. No one has access to your data unless authorized by you.  Also, when you login, look for a little "locked padlock" icon in the upper left hand corner of the popup window. It will look like this. Screen Shot 2011-10-26 at 11.07.42 AM  This is your assurance that you are banking securely online.
Are there any hidden charges or fees? No. You select the dollar amount for your gift. That is the dollar amount that will be recognized as your donation. No costs or fees.
What is a contribution schedule? This is the same as a recurring schedule or subscription. You can choose how often you would like an automatic donation to be made – one-time, weekly, every two weeks or monthly.
Why must I setup an account and password? Setting up an account with a password allows you to enter the secure area of the web site. Once your account and password are established, all of your personal information (including account numbers) is safe and protected.
Can I designate my gift to a particular fund or ministry? Currently there are are only two funds to designate your gifts to; the General Operating Fund and the Building Fund Fund. When you donate to the General Operating Fund, you are helping to sustain the day to day operations of the church. Any money you donate to the Building Fund is used to restore and renew our church. If you can only give to one fund, it is suggested you donate to the General Operating Fund.
Can I post more than one recurring donation i.e., one to the General Operating Fund and one to the Capital Campaign Fund? Yes. You just create two contribution schedules – one for the General Operating Fund and one for the Capital Campaign Fund.
When is the contribution charged to my checking account or credit card? Transactions usually take 1-2 business days, so contributions posted on Friday through Sunday may not show up on your account until early the following week. You may see your contribution appear sooner in your online personal history however. This let's you know that your transaction is being processed. Also, each time you submit a donation, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
What are the advantages of Online Giving? Aside from being convenient, It makes it easier to fulfill stewardship commitments, even when you are unable to attend church. Also, it eliminates the need to bring cash or checks to church. Giving electronically actually helps cut costs by reducing the number of paper transactions.
How are my contributions automatically deducted from my account?
Once you create your account, the contribution amount you specify will automatically be transferred from your bank account to the church's bank account usually in 1-2 business days.
Without a canceled check, how can I prove I made my contribution?
Your bank statement provides an itemized list of electronic transactions as does your printable online history reports.
What if I try recurring Online Giving, decide it's not for me, and wish to stop or cancel it? First, login and click on the Auto Tithe tab.  From here you may cancel your authorization by deleting your credit card and/or bank account information along with your donation dates.
How do I sign up for Online Giving? Just click on the, "Click here to give online"' button located in the top right hand corner of this page.  Click on "First Time" in the window that pops up. This will take you to a secure form where you will be asked to fill out some basic information.  When completed, click "Submit".  Once your account is setup you are ready to make contributions online.  It’s that simple and it only takes a few minutes!
If I do not write checks, how do I keep my checkbook balance straight?
Since your contribution is made at a pre-established time, you simply record it in your check register on the appropriate date. Electronic contributions are recorded for you on your bank statement as well as your online reports.
What if I change bank accounts? If you change bank accounts, simply login to your account and click on the Auto Tithe tab. This is where you had previously setup automatic recurring contributions. From here you can change or edit your account information as necessary.
What credit cards are accepted?
Currently we can accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Debit Cards (ATM Checking). At some point we hope to include online or ACH (Automated Clearing House) checking for those who wish to pay by check but do not have an ATM debit card.
How long does my personal history remain online?
Your personal online history remains available to you as long as you keep or maintain your online account.
Can a transaction contribution be reversed?
Yes. There are two ways. After you submit a contribution, go to your "View History" screen. Next to the fund that you donated to, you should see the word "Void".  Click on the word and follow the instructions.  This method will cancel the transaction up to the time the transaction gets posted to your credit card account (usually 1-2 business days).  The second method involves sending an e-mail to webmaster@allsaintsomaha.org to request a refund.  You should only need to use this method if you wish to have a transaction permanently removed from your account once it has already been posted.
Can I write a check online?
Not currently. We are hoping to include ACH (Automated Clearing House) checking as an option at some point. However, if you have an ATM debit card, you can use that instead to have contributions deducted directly from your checking account.
If after clicking the above link, you still cannot access the Online Giving login page, check to make sure you have "popups enabled" for the browser you are using, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.

  Security and Online Giving
Whenever you make any kind of a payment online, whether it be a monthly car payment, insurance premium, store purchase, stock trade, or donation, you want to be absolutely certain that your financial transaction is not compromised. The name of the company All Saints has chosen to administer it's online giving is Easy Tithe.  They work primarily with churches and other non-profit organizations. Their primary directive is to ensure your online giving experience is completely safe and secure. To learn more about these safeguards please click on the link below.
PCI DSS Compliance & Security
As required by the PCI Security Council and all processing banks, Easy Tithe is fully PCI DSS Compliant (Payment Card Industry - Data Security Standards). This means Easy Tithe conforms to the highest set of security standards in the payment card industry. Your account managers, end users, and Easy Tithe employees will never have access to the type of sensitive information that might lead to an unauthorized transaction.
Intrusion Detection
On top of PCI Compliance, Easy Tithe also maintains the prestigious certification of "McAfee Secure". Where PCI Compliance requires our system to be scanned for vulnerabilities quarterly, McAfee scans our system every day. In short, Easy Tithe has contracted an Independent Qualified Security Assessor, McAfee, Inc., to attempt to break in, every day. Not only does this allow Easy Tithe to adhere to the strictest security standards, it allows Easy Tithe to stay ahead of new hacker techniques and system vulnerabilities.
SLL Transaction Security
Easy Tithe uses 128 Bit SSL technology for data transactions. All personal, credit card, & bank information is submitted using 128 bit encryption. There is no stronger form of protection than this encryption and by doing this, we eliminate the possibility that someone might "tap" the line and extract your personal data from it. 128-bit SSL encryption has never been broken and according to RSL Labs, it would take a "trillion-trillion years" to crack the code using today's technology.
The Datacenter
Our datacenter upholds security measures to rigorous standards. Proximity card entry, camera-recorded server room access, and a perimeter security system all protect the datacenter facilities. These security components ensure only employed certified Server Engineers have direct access to the datacenter and individual servers. This restricted access ensures maximum security when maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting servers in the racks.
